Normally scam emails will say Hi, customer, account holder, etc.
A Full name will be used by most legitimate emails.
2. Even if you think the message is legitimate DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINKS IN THE EMAIL.
If you think it is legitimate go ahead and open your browser from the Desktop and then go to the web site how you would normally visit. If you don’t use the item mentioned don’t go there.
Common email scam items sent are:
Missed Package, Incoming Fax, Traffic Ticket, Airline Ticket, & Tax Return

Hand Held Technology that’s being used to help cops send speeding tickets through the mail

Though not as common as fixed speed cameras or use of a traditional radar gun, these hand-held devices that issue tickets in the mail without pulling a driver over are not entirely unique to Newburgh. Police in Youngstown, Ohio, started using these types of guns that track speed and take pictures to issue tickets in August. According to the Youngstown Vindicator, police issued 1,000 tickets in 12 days with these devices, more than was issued the whole of 2014. -
